Welcome to the San Francisco
Hispanic Chamber of Commerce
The San Francisco Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SFHCC) promotes the economic development of our members and the Hispanic business community in San Francisco and the Greater Bay Area.
We, the SFHCC board of directors, sincerely thank you for the patience you’ve shown us. We want to assure you that a strong, active, and participatory Chamber will emerge from the restructuring efforts we are undertaking right now.
Of course, this will require your input – we want to hear from you!
To that end, please join us for a networking mixer and reintroduction to the Chamber on Thursday, August 5, 2010, 5:30 – 7:30 at the
Transamerica
Building, 40th Floor.
This mixer will be free of charge.
Come and meet the new SFHCC Board of Directors, learn about the strategy of the Chamber, talk to us about how the Chamber can benefit you and your businesses, reconnect with friends and make new ones!

The San Francisco Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is currently developing an organizational strategy with three main objectives:
1) Connectivity
The SFHCC will be the go-to organization for its members to learn about how to do business in San Francisco . We will connect you with city business services and decision makers. We will connect you with each other, business to business, with the goal of mutual growth and stability. And we will do so in a forum that is business-centric, but acutely aware of our culture.
We look forward to working with other similar organizations to the maximum benefit of our membership.
2) Public Policy
We will serve as the conduit of your business concerns to our city’s elected officials and service departments. Collectively, our voice will be a much stronger force for change as our businesses strive to succeed in a challenging economy. As a community, we will have a seat at the table when decisions are being made that have direct and measurable effect on our businesses.
3) Economic Development
The economy is not limited to our 49 square miles of San Francisco . In the 21st century, through advances in communication and other technology, we all find ourselves in a global economy. The Chamber will seek out regional, national, and even global business development organizations and introduce them to you. In conjunction with other organizations, we can quickly establish an economic development “center.” Are you thinking about expanding your business beyond borders? Is your national or international company looking to come to San Francisco ? We can help!
This is where we see the Chamber moving in the very immediate future. What do you think? We welcome your input. Please feel free to give us your opinion at sfhispanicchamber@gmail.com.
We look forward to working with you, promoting Latino business in San Francisco , developing common objectives, delivering measurable results, and having fun along the way.
Please join us!
Thank you and we hope to see you on August 5th!
